Employment agencies can supply you with temporary or permanent employees for a fee. They specialize in finding industry or skill-specific employees and can supply candidates for you to interview and choose from. Employment agencies have usually pre-screened candidates and will have already administered reference and background checks, aptitude tests and other qualifiers. Often times, an employer will hire an employee on a temporary basis, and if the employer finds the temp satisfactory, will hire him/her on as a permanent employee. If you hire a temp, and later decide you would llike to hire the temp as a permanent employee, read your contract with the agency carefully. You may be charged a fee if you hire one of their temps.
